Who is that student?
Who is this person?
That is sitted
Right in front of me?
Who is this person
that came from
the other side
of the world?
Who is this person
that crossed continents
and vast oceans
to get a
totally new life
here, in Brazil?
Who is this person
that defies all the logic
in search of a
brand new start?
Who is this person
that battles and
never give up
Who is this person
that you can trully trust
Who is this person
that honors its commitments
That keeps his word
and works without blinking?
Who is this person
Who bears the burden
Of the fight for survival
in a distant, foreign land
And who carries
the weight of the poetry
That runs in his veins?
Who is this person?
Who is this messenger
of the divine designs?
Who has the voice
that must be
listened?
It's my friend
