YOU CAN COUNT ON ME! - "Stand by Me/CONTA COMIGO" - 2013 Edition.

YOU CAN COUNT ON ME! - "Stand by Me/CONTA COMIGO" - 2013 Edition.

Hundreds of people, more than 500, of which 400 young people engaged in
helping others,
asking and raising food in the neighborhood,
making repairs,
cleaning and organizing the library, the dormitories, the kitchen, and common areas

tiding the 1250 beds, and washing the clothes on the gigantic laundry...

A great demonstration of Love, Altruism,
And service to others,
Which are so necessary in the world today.

And all of That are happening where? In the big house that welcomes all people, called Arsenal da Esperança (Arsenal of Hope).

Faith without good works is dead.
Feeling Compassion it's not Enough! We must act.

"Once upon a time a homeless man
Begin to study in the School of Arsenal, rose again,
And became a Firefighter, a public server.

Another one, turned artist.
The other, turned writer.
Another, returned to his homeland and became a microentrepreneur,
enriched, and returned here
JUST TO SAY THANKS ... "

All this because of a place called
Arsenal of Hope, in São Paulo.

A holy house, which saves countless lives

A STRONG ARM AND A HAND EXTENDED,
for those who are fallen
for those who live on the street
for those who have no family
for those whom society has labeled and discriminated

A STRONG ARM, AND A HELPING HAND,
pulling off the alcohol,
Out of the drug
And up to God, to Jesus.

A HOLLY HOUSE
Dedicated to Love, Charity
and Service to others

Here, They ask what is your name,
where you come from,
And not how much you have in your pocket ...

You are welcomed by the human being that you are,
and not by the gains you can offer...
