POEM: EACH ONE OF US
By Adama Konate
"Each one of us is a ephemeral living being
Each one of us is a pastor and
Each one of us leads the sheep of his flock
Each one of us has a chance in life
Each one of us has the same red blood
Each one of us is a slave of God
Each one of us is passionate
Each one of us is useful some part
Each one of us is a sinner
Each one of us will reap what we sow
Each one of us is a world traveler
Each one of us has his power
Each one of us has its time
Each one of us has a father and a mother
Each one of us has its roots
Each one of us has its limits
Each one of us has his mentality
Each one of us has his generation
Each one of us has made a promise to God before being born
Each one of us has a defect
Each one of us has an enemy
Each one of us has the same soul
Each one of us follows his destiny
Each one of us lives in a divine circle
Each one of us is known and then unknown
Each one of us hates death
"Each for himself and God for all"
If everyone knew what the other says
No one would speak of anyone's life to anyone
And
Each one of us has its Hope."
