Yu Tzu, disciple of Confucius said:
"When trustworthiness complements righteouness,
Words can be fulfilled.
When courtesy complements the rites,
Shame and disgrace are kept afar.
Thereby those closest are not lost
And the honour of ancestors is preserved."
